Murad // Spring Soiree at The London in West Hollywood

Last week we had the honor of working with Murad at The London located in West Hollywood.

One of my favorite things that I love about working different types of events is being able to see all the details that essentially create the personality and vibe for each event. For Murad, it was very clear that they wanted to take care of their guests and they sure did! From the music to the food and drinks, everything was well-tailored and it was really great to see their vision come to life.

In terms of production, this event was one of our biggest jobs that we have had this year, as we provided some table arrangements, a bouquet bar and the glorious 8 ft tall x 7 ft wide flower wall made from fresh flowers and foliage.

The flower wall that we created from scratch took about a week of preparation. Constructing the wall and planning for transport definitely took some time, but once completed, was probably one of the most satisfying feelings I had to date. With flower wall styling and design, I have a general idea of what I would like to create, but just like the flower crowns, I love being in the moment and visually creating what comes out artistically.

The spontaneity of being able to create and go through the process of seeing it from start to finish was probably the most fun of the whole project. Of course, it took a lot of work...8 people, 30+ hours of direct time and over 1,000 stems!

When we finished, it was like a step into Alice and Wonderland with all the colors, textures and varietals integrated into the wall. It was so satisfying to see it in its final form!

Murad had some really fun colors that we wanted to integrate into all the flowers throughout the event! Bright blues, nectarine orange, lime green and a fuscia purple were our palate to play with and we wanted to make sure that we integrated as much color together to create a fun, yet polished look.

For the bouquet bar, Murad guests had the opportunity to learn how to create their own take-home flower arrangements. The guys and gals did so amazing and of course, it was really beautiful to watch each and every guest create their own arrangements that were a reflection of their own personality and style.

It was such a great night out with some really great people and thank you Murad for having us be part of your second annual Spring Soiree!

SIDE NOTE // HUGE shout-out to my team of people who helped make this event such a success!
